      It is important that before placing an order with us you understand any conditions of sale or restrictions that might apply to your order. Our full Terms & Conditions document can be downloaded or viewed on this page but we appreciate that reading through all the information can be hard going which is why we wanted to set out the following important points in plain sight:


      We are available to give help and advice but prior to placing an order you should check over all the details to ensure you have the right items.

      Our restocking charge is up to 65% of the original sale value and you will need to arrange to have the items returned to the foundry. This is to deter people from just guessing what they need, ordering and sending back the bits they don’t want. Experience tells us that most returns look like they have been kept under a bush and often need to be re-painted and re-packaged, which costs us money. We are not unreasonable and are always on hand to help so talk to us before you order to make sure you have the right items.

      Bespoke items or products painted in a special colour are not able to be returned or refunded. We will always provide an approval drawing or colour sample ahead of manufacturing to ensure that you receive exactly what you need.


      We will always try and let you know what day your delivery is coming because it will need to be checked and signed for. If we have agreed on a date and you are not available when the delivery arrives then additional charges may be applied. Whilst our delivery partners will always try and accommodate your needs, sometimes it is not possible to unload large orders and so suitable labour or equipment should be on site to take your order off the delivery vehicle. Please talk to our team about options if you require a timed delivery or have any special delivery requirements. Please also tell us of any access restrictions that might have an impact on your delivery.


      If you have any questions, or concerns or need reassurance before placing an order then please call or email us. You’ll often find us available to respond outside of regular business hours as we would rather you got it the right first time.

    • DELIVERY

      Once you have placed your order, our team will process the details and issue a copy of your invoice. For standard stock items, we aim to process, pack, dispatch and deliver to you within 3 working days. If an item is not available or we are producing bespoke pieces, we will provide an estimated time of dispatch at the point of order.


      We work with a number of delivery partners and depending on the size of your order the delivery vehicle can be anything from a small van right up to an HGV with a 40ft trailer. It is for this reason that we ask you tell us of any delivery restrictions that may have an impact on the vehicle used to deliver your order. Any information that can be passed on to our delivery partners will help avoid delays and possibly additional charges.


      Delivery times are usually between 8am and 6pm but if you have provided a contact number, we will always request that you are called ahead of delivery to ensure that you will be home. Specific delivery times and Saturday delivery slots are available at additional cost.


      As cast iron products are generally heavy, it will be necessary for you to have enough people or equipment on site to unload the vehicle. Most delivery vehicles will have a tail lift but not all and even for those that do have the facility there are limits concerning weight and size. It is important that upon receipt of your delivery that the goods are unpacked and checked with the delivery driver present. Any shortages or damages must be noted on the delivery paperwork at the time as once you have signed as ‘received in good condition’, we cannot accept any claims.


      Regardless of whether your items are supplied in a primer or painted finish, it is advisable to store all items pre-installation in a dry environment.
