Description

The Screw to wall pipe brackets provide additional support to cast iron rainwater pipes. The rear fixing detaches from the strap section allowing you to fold the support around the pipe before reconnecting and tightening with the nut and bolt provided. The Metal & Glass pipe brackets are supplied with a rubber gasket which fits inside the strap offering a tighter fit without damaging the paintwork on the rainwater pipe.

These pipe strap brackets are design to fit around the barrel of the pipe below the collar (not around the collar). Sizes shown relate to the internal pipe size as this is how they are more commonly referenced.

Brackets To Suit Pipe Sizes:

65mm internal = 70mm external
75mm internal = 80mm external
100mm internal = 105mm external

These are a quality UK manufactured pipe strap bracket and are designed for cast iron rainwater goods. It might be possible to use with other materials such as plastic or aluminium but it would be advisable to check your sizes with the figures above.

Please note that these brackets are for cast iron rainwater pipe and may not fit cast iron soil pipe. We offer alternative holdfast and holderbat brackets for the LCC soil system and an adjustable bracket for the Traditional Express, Mech 416, Halifax Soil and Halifax Drain systems.

To ensure everything fits together neatly, our cast iron rainwater system uses internal and external pieces to couple the gutters to the fittings.  Deciding whether something is internal or external can be confusing so we have put together the graphics below to help you.

On symmetrical cast iron gutters such as the common half round you simply turn the gutter angle around to suit internal or external corners on the roof.  With the cast iron ogee gutters where the profile is asymmetrical, you need to order the correct type of angle – internal or external.

With ogee stop ends, because of the profile of the gutter they are handed – either right hand or left hand.  Stop ends are always handed when looking from the front.  Stand in front of the gutter and you will require an external stop end to cap off the end to the right, and an internal stop end to cap off the left hand end.  This also applies to the drop end outlets.
