It is important that before placing an order with us you understand any conditions of sale or restrictions that might apply to your order. Once you have placed your order, our team will process the details and issue a copy of your invoice. For standard stock items, we aim to process, pack, dispatch and deliver to you within 3 working days. If an item is not available or we are producing bespoke pieces, we will provide an estimated time of dispatch at the point of order.
We work with a number of delivery partners and depending on the size of your order the delivery vehicle can be anything from a small van right up to an HGV with a 40ft trailer. It is for this reason that we ask you tell us of any delivery restrictions that may have an impact on the vehicle used to deliver your order. Any information that can be passed on to our delivery partners will help avoid delays and possibly additional charges.
Delivery times are usually between 8am and 6pm but if you have provided a contact number, we will always request that you are called ahead of delivery to ensure that you will be home. Specific delivery times and Saturday delivery slots are available at additional cost.
As cast iron products are generally heavy, it will be necessary for you to have enough people or equipment on site to unload the vehicle. Most delivery vehicles will have a tail lift but not all and even for those that do have the facility there are limits concerning weight and size. It is important that upon receipt of your delivery that the goods are unpacked and checked with the delivery driver present. Any shortages or damages must be noted on the delivery paperwork at the time as once you have signed as ‘received in good condition’, we cannot accept any claims.
Regardless of whether your items are supplied in a primer or painted finish, it is advisable to store all items pre-installation in a dry environment.
